The Beco Econoom hook system, carrier, cargo hook carrier, container wagon and container carrier are all names used to describe the equipment used to load, transport, tip and unload containers towed behind a tractor. But a carrier is a carrier, isn’t it? This might seem the case at first glance, but there are differences.
The Beco Econoom container carrier is robustly manufactured for repeated and constant use. Many variations on the basic version are available: according to preference, our carriers can be fitted with mechanical tandem, air or hydraulic suspension. These versions can be supplied in various system lengths. A practical advantage of hydraulic and air suspension is the ability to set the chassis height. When loading a container, the chassis can be dropped so that the container remains relatively level and, when transferring a container, the chassis can simply be adjusted to match the height of the other vehicle.
Beco supplies Econoom cargo hook carrier wagons with hook capacities of 14 to 25 tons on tandem-axle chassis, and 30 tons on tri-axle chassis.
To sum it up, there are a wide range of load capacities to choose from.
